11th Aug (Sat) - Oxford plus Bicester Village (Shopping Outlet)

Hi there,

Last Saturday, we went to Oxford for 1 day short trip with some of our classmates. On that day, we have a lovely weather. It's a fantastic journey!!
Look at the map below just for an idea of how far from Norwich to Oxford!! -- It's super far!! We took almost 4 hours by driving because there was a little traffic jam when we drived into Oxford city centre. (It should be around 3 and half hrs at max)

1) The 1st stop is "Alice Shop". This is a famous fairy story - 'Alice's Adventures in Wonderland' by Carroll Lewis. This shop sells some mini tea cup, teapot, plates, postcards etc. (pls refer to below photo I took in Alice's shop for mini tea tool set)

2) After shopping in Alice's shop, we went to Christ Church. One of Christ Church's other literary and film associations is with J.K.ROWLING'S Harry Potter. Scenes for the first two of these successful film were shot at Christ Church. If you want to visit the part of chruch, you have to pay 2.9 pounds for permission (but for meadow is free) ; you can visit The Dining Hall, The Cathedral........see more in pictures!!

The Dining Hall

3) On the street in Oxford city centre, I saw a "bunny girl". She is very qute, and there is a bobtail attached on the back.....see below pic..hehehe!!!!!!!! very funny!!

Thanks for joining this trip to Oxford, everyone. It's very enjoyable to go out with you. I am expecting our next trip to the Norfolk (boat trip)!!
see ya
Amy
